NEW APPOINTMENT
GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Uniphar Group are delighted to announce the appointment of Gerard Rabbette as the new Group Chief Executive Officer for UniPhar Group.
Gerard Rabbette is the former Managing Director of Movianto and Head of Celesio Solutions for Ireland since 2004. Movianto Ireland is a Celesio Group company and is the provider of logistics and ancillary services to pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company operates from four distribution centres in Ireland and has doubled its market share in the past four years.
Gerard is a chartered accountant who trained with Ernst & Young before joining Cahill May Roberts Plc in 1990. He held a number of senior positions with Cahill May Roberts, including Operations and Agency Director, before his appointment as Managing Director of Movianto Ireland in 2004. He is highly experienced in the pharmaceutical services industry with over 20 years experience in all aspects of the supply chain and has a strong record of success.
